Backstory
Aca grew up in the loud and often violent Madrak district of the Walled City of Nocturne. He never knew his parents, but grew up as many of the goliath there did and despite his relatively small stature, earned a modicum of respect for his ability to always come back for more. Reluctantly, he was accepted by several of the goliath street gangs that committed minor crimes to make ends meet.
During a simple robbery, Aca stumbled across a magical sword, and upon picking it up, found the item to merge with his arm, warping the skin to chitin of black and red. The robbery went sideways, and Aca left Nocturne for a time.
As he searched for a way to rid himself of the cursed arm, which Aca discovered could be willed into a blade, he found his way to the Free City of Dungannon on the opposite coast of Dominion. There, he met Mr. Gift, the leader of the Dungannon Antiquities Collective, a group that specializes in tracking and collecting the magical items that are present on the continent. There he met Drea, a dragonborn artificer who saw potential in the half-elf, though it pained her to admit it.
Aca learned the Fazzarakian techniques of artificing over several years, and despite the other D.A.C members not trusting Aca fully, Drea and Mr. Gift had the final say on Aca's status with the organization. Aca joined the Finger Gang reluctantly as a mercenary, and slowly found himself thrust into the events that foretold the end of the world. After being slain by Ziestriess and having his cursed arm torn away revealing that it was a phylanctory for Ziestriess, Aca resolved to kill the Mindflayer or face a final death trying.
The final battle against Ziestriess saw Aca meet the mindflayer toe-to-toe, and while the rest of the party was held back by a Dominated Oakfeld and the ruins of a 54' treant crashing through the Burning Bastion, Aca was slain by Power Word Kill. Aca had the Ring of Mind Shielding equipped, which was initially looted by Ziestriess and then Brenna.

Campaign Trivia
- Aca joined the Finger Gang when their paths crossed as he tracked a cult with a Wand of Wonder. Aca witnessed the group murder the entire cult, and aligned himself temporarily, before later realizing that his arm was a link to the mindflayer Ziestriess, who the group was in pursuit of.
- When Aca had his arm severed by Ziestriess in the Tunnels of Kua-Tar and was slain, he had an arm rebuilt for him by Drea, his mentor, and Glub, the current rendition of Matt's first character, Guntir.
- When Aca died, he respeced the three levels of Psi Warrior to Samurai, to meet narrative needs of losing the cursed arm.
- Aca is the only character to die as members of both the Finger Gang and the Fatechangers
